UAVS and UAV countermeasures

The total volume of the Russian drone market in 2023 totaled more than RUB 8 billion. This data was presented at SPIEF by Rostelecom.

Rostelecom experts estimate that if the current growth rate (+60%) is maintained annually, the domestic UAV market will reach RUB 13 billion in 2024 and RUB 81 billion by 2028. In 2025-2026, we should expect the realization of deferred growth caused by the need to adapt the market to new challenges.

We should expect an increase in the purchase of UAVs for a wide range of civilian and military tasks: delivery of mail and other cargo, monitoring and sanitation, surveying and mapping of terrain for scientific or other purposes, and assistance in emergency situations in various sectors of the economy (agriculture, construction, energy).

It is worth mentioning UAV defense systems separately. Given the current challenges, this segment, consisting of electronic warfare, mobile shooting systems, nets, and capes, may grow by at least 40-50% in 2024.

Every year, Securika Moscow is visited by CEOs of major Russian and foreign companies, business owners, security directors, and representatives of end customers from various industries who are interested in business modernization and new technologies.

For example, at Securika Moscow 2024, the following companies took part in the exposition "UAVS and UAV countermeasures": Prime Radar Technologies, YUMIRS, FSUE Russian Broadcasting and Alerting Networks, Shvabe Holding, ESTER Solutions, Diagnostika M LLC, Free Cooperation Network, STILSOFT, Spetslab, and Special Control Technologies.
